#CREW 2 HOME DEPOT WINDOWS#
I ask what their time windows are and I'm told I'll be called the day prior and told when they would be there.
#CREW 2 HOME DEPOT HOW TO#
Everyone else seems to get through just fine on this phone, but for some reason this Install outfit can't figure out how to make an outgoing call. They said they have been trying to get through and this is a lie. By this time I know that they are not going to call me. But yet again, I had to call and call and call to get the actual service appointment set up. They seemed to be able to get through to me for that. Make no mistake, Home Depot has called and gotten it's money for the new pad. He did exactly what I asured and said, "yeah, carpet is fine, pad needs replaced." He writes a report and submits it to this outsourced install company who has, at this point totally disrespected myself, my time and my work. 4:15 I called and "Sean", the remote customer service with Install guy says he (the inspector) is about 3 minutes out. The guy was again supposed to come at 4.nothing. I called the next day and blasted the guy. I told them I wouldn't be available until after 4 and they made the note in my record and said the guy would be at my house around 4. The window I had been given was between 3-5, I think. And he had to come out on a day I was working so I rearranged my schedule to meet him at 4pm. I already had had our adjuster out and could tell him what was going to happen, but NO, the inspector had to come out. We lined up the "inspector" to come out and basically see what needed to be done. I offered to screen shot my recent call log and send it to him. The guy lied and said he had been trying to call me. I waited nearly a week to hear from them. I was told their install people would contact me to arrange the inspector to come out before anything was replaced. The carpet was salvageable but some pad was not. Just finished the basement last year so the carpet isn't a year old. Right away we got the water removed and the carpet pulled up.
They are revolting and I would give them negative stars if I had the option. I cannot tell you how fed up and disgusted I am with this Big Box nightmare. " Run, don't walk, from Home Depot Carpet" I will NOT ever buy Mohawk brands, or Home Depot flooring of any kind. The principal is, in the first year expensive carpet should not look like this. It took 8 months of trying, to finally get a store manager on the phone! The carpet is worn, and the threads are running. Home Depot, Burbank, CA did not handle this with customer care or customer satisfaction at all. 20 trips into the store, they lost my original claim, they denied sending an inspector, until I perused Consumer Affairs, then they sent "an independent inspector" who had just told me he was on a flight back from Georgia, to Los Angeles, during the Covid 19 pandemic! He inspected my carpet, and told Mohawk he found no manufacturing defects or "wear." This is completely in acceptable! Installed in one room in my home, a room that wasn't even being used. The other thing is the samples I received in the mail from Home Depot were fluffy and beautiful! The installed carpet was matted flat and never fluffed up causing it to look used! Seriously run from this brand of carpet! Never Again!ΔΆ5 yr warranty, LifeProof-? My carpeting suddenly began to Look Worn, for no reason at all. Now I have to rip this out and start over.

Plus the installer left stains on the carpet and I tried everything to get it out and couldn't. The carpet I had prior was in my bedroom for 10 years before it got this filthy. This carpet had been I installed for 3 months and it's completely filthy. The reason I purchased this carpet was due to the "lifeproof" slogan and claim to last. Lifeproof Carpet is horrible! My home is decorated all white so I know how to keep anything white. B.S! I've had carpet install by a local company and we both measured 700. Not only did they overcharge me for larger measurements the installation company kept the extra carpet! My room measures at 700sf the charged for 900sf they stated it was needed.
